Lane Aviation Representative AeroGlobo Aeronaves Displays Air Tractor AT-802A at LABACE 2023
AeroGlobo Aeronaves, the Brazilian representative for Lane Aviation, has made history by displaying an ag aircraft for the first time at LABACE – the Annual Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition. Since 2003, LABACE is the biggest and most important business aviation event in South America, but it never had an ag aircraft displayed – until now.
AeroGlobo teamed up with Tangará Aeroagrícola in order to display one of their Air Tractors at the event, an AT-802BA with a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67AG engine registered as PR-PRG. LABACE 2023 was held on August 8th to 10th at the Congonhas Airport. As this airport is situated in the heart of São Paulo and is the second busiest airport in Brazil, a special authorization was required for the AT-802A to land there under VFR flight rules. It was also the first time an ag aircraft landed at Congonhas Airport.
AeroGlobo Aeronaves has been serving the Brazilian ag aviation industry for more than 15 years, and has delivered more than 270 aircraft so far. AeroGlobo expects to achieve 300 airplanes delivered by the end of this year. AeroGlobo also provides Air Tractor and PW&C training courses for pilots and mechanics, as well as insurance services

A AeroGlobo Aeronaves, representante da Lane Aviation no Brasil, fez história ao exibir um avião agrícola pela primeira vez na LABACE – a Annual Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition. Desde 2003, a LABACE é o maior e mais importante evento de aviação executiva na América do Sul, mas ela nunca teve um avião agrícola exposto – até agora.
A AeroGlobo teve a ajuda da Tangará Aeroagrícola, que disponibilizou um de seus Air Tractors para o evento, um AT-802A com motor Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67AG de matrícula PR-PRG. A LABACE 2023 ocorreu entre 8 e 10 de agosto no Aeroporto de Congonhas. Sendo este aeroporto situado no coração de São Paulo e o segundo mais movimentado aeroporto do Brasil, uma autorização especial foi necessária para que o AT-802A pousasse lá sob regras de voo VFR. Esta também foi a primeira vez que um avião agrícola pousou no Aeroporto de Congonhas
